What is a Peer Saab?

Peer Saab is an elder who is a spiritual guide or Sufi master, they are also referred to as Hazrat and Pir. The English Translate of this is Saint or Elder. They are also called Mullah or Imam in Pakistani culture but this is just another word for Sufism. This term is applied to a Muslim man who is educated in Islamic Theology and its Sacred Laws. Over time this has developed into different practices but all mean the same person and Sufism is not known

The Sufi Master, Peer Saab was first introduced in the Western Society in the 19th Century. During that time a Peer Saab was well known and given a lot of respect in the every local community in Pakistan and Western Culture. Muslims will go see the spiritual guide to seek knowledge, of the Quran and a guide for your problems. All Muslims have a lot of passion and believe because a Peer Saab gives them hope, ambition and confidence.

However, in the 21st Century times have now changed the generations now have started to question their believe in this spiritual guide. There now has been news of dishonest Peer Saabs that have wrong intentions and gain Financial gain from the family and personal issues. There People who believe that these are fabrications of Sufi cults, these people believe that no one has this power to perform such miracles and it will more harm than good.

From the information that I have gathered, I will try to find out why over time and generations Peer Saab and Sufism has changed so much.
